You have been evaluated in the Emergency Department today for your cramping abdominal pain. Your evaluation suggests that your symptoms are due to menstrual cramps.
Please take ibuprofen up to 600mg every 6 hours to control pain. You can also use heating or cooling packs.

Return to the Emergency Department if you experience vaginal bleeding, shortness of breath, feeling lightheaded, chest tightness, worsening or uncontrolled pain, fevers 100.4°F or greater, or for any other concerning symptoms.
